Apprentice – Application Support Associate

Role Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice to support business applications and assist users with day-to-day operational issues. The candidate should have a basic understanding of Java and a strong willingness to learn application support processes, troubleshooting techniques, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for business applications.
• Log, track, and follow up on user-reported issues.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues when required.
• Monitor application availability and report incidents.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and deployment activities.
• Maintain support documentation and knowledge articles.
• Coordinate with development teams for issue resolution.
• Support routine maintenance and data validation activities.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Java programming.
• Understanding of SQL and databases.
• Familiarity with Windows and web-based applications.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
