Applied AI Analytics Engineer

We're hiring an Applied AI Analytics Engineer to drive end-to-end analytics engineering on a GCP/BigQuery + dbt stack — and push what AI tools (Cursor, Hex, MCPs, custom agents) can do for fast, decentralized decision-making.

What you'll own: Advanced SQL on BigQuery — design data models, write optimized/cost-aware queries, build core tables others build on Use Gen AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive work, and ship prototypes fast Build self-serve interfaces (Hex apps, agents) so Product/Ops/Engagement can run their own analysis Modular dbt models with versioning, tests, and quality monitoring Work directly with cross-functional teams — sprint planning, roadmap input, proposing better tooling Own data quality — documentation, data dictionaries, standardization

What we're looking for:

• 1–2 years in analytics, GCP-centric (BigQuery, dbt) preferred
• Hands-on with Cursor, Hex, MCPs, or custom agents — not just buzzwords
• Strong Python for automation & EDA + solid grasp of statistics
• BI fluency — Looker Studio (or equivalent) + Sheets
• Top-tier engineering/quant background (IIT/NIT/BITS/IIIT or equivalent)
• Self-taught, fast learner — evidence from side projects, GitHub, hackathons
• Prior EdTech / high-growth B2C consumer tech exposure is a plus
