Summary: As production support, Provide L2 production support for Java applications. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, detailed analysis, and collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, contributing to the overall efficiency of business processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor application and system health using Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to Java, SQL, Unix, and Windows environments.
- Analyse logs and identify root causes of incidents.
- Handle incident and service requests through ServiceNow.
- Support application deployments on WebLogic server.
- Execute SQL queries for data validation and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
- Participate in on-call support as required.
- Maintain proper documentation of incidents and resolutions.
- Primary Skills Java: Strong hands-on experience in Java application support and troubleshooting. SQL: Proficiency in writing and optimising SQL queries for database analysis and issue resolution. UNIX: Solid understanding of UNIX/Linux commands, scripting, and environment management.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of Java applications.
- Strong SQL query writing and database troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux commands.
- Experience working with WebLogic server.
- Knowledge of Windows Server environment.
- Experience with ServiceNow for incident management.
- Experience using Splunk and Dynatrace for monitoring and log analysis.
- Understanding of basic ITIL processes (Incident & Change Management).
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
