Application Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, configure and maintain vendor applications in Unix/Java/Oracle/AIX environments
• Provide L2/L3 application support for banking compliance applications
• 2+ years of experience in Banking / Financial Services / Payments
• CGI HotScan / HotScan360
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform RCA
• Handle SLA-driven incidents and coordinate with vendors for resolution
• Monitor application processes, jobs, logs and MQ messages
• Support sanctions/payment screening processes and related application issues
• Track BAU issues through Jira and ServiceNow
• Provide SME support to the L1 support team
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, database, security and business teams
• Support application upgrades, changes and deployments
• Work on system vulnerability remediation
• Analyze business requirements and support application enhancements
• Research new technologies and contribute to continuous improvement
• Manage multiple BAU activities, incidents and project responsibilities
