As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of multiple interconnected components. The position demands continuous vigilance and responsiveness to maintain system integrity and support business continuity through effective troubleshooting and resolution activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues.
• Document and communicate findings and solutions clearly to stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and improvement of support processes and tools.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster skill development.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Security.
• Strong knowledge of user access management and role-based permissions within SAP environments.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving security-related incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with SAP security concepts such as authorization objects, profiles, and user administration.
• Ability to analyze system logs and audit trails to identify potential security risks.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
