Application Support Engineer

Compentencies

• Basic understanding of enterprise application support processes.
• Basic working knowledge of Java-based applications and web technologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and application logs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills when working with technical teams.
• Ability to follow defined processes and escalate issues appropriately.
• Willingness to learn modern technologies including AI-enabled and automation-driven platforms.
  

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in application support, IT operations, or technical support roles.
• Basic understanding of enterprise applications, APIs, and system integrations.
• Exposure to Linux systems, application monitoring tools, or database environments preferred.
• Basic SQL knowledge with exposure to Oracle or other relational databases is preferred
