Application Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Lead to design, configure, implement, and support SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions across end-to-end warehouse and supply chain operations. The role involves acting as a software detective, identifying, analysing, and resolving issues across multiple components of critical business systems. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and project teams to ensure efficient warehouse operations, inventory control, quality management integration, and seamless supply chain execution in an SAP S/4HANA environment. This is a 100% client-facing role and requires the candidate to work exclusively from the client's location in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.

Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP EWM solution design, configuration, implementation, and production support.
• Design and optimise inbound, outbound, internal warehouse, and inventory movement processes.
• Work on warehouse process design, process mapping, and solution blueprinting.
• Support integration of SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA and other relevant business processes.
• Work on quality inspection and quality management integration within warehouse processes.
• Analyse production issues, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions.
• Coordinate with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders for issue resolution.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation related to EWM solutions.
• Participate in testing activities, including test script preparation, UAT, defect resolution, and sign-off.
• Support data migration, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users and support teams.
• Proactively take ownership of assigned tasks through to closure.
• Collaborate effectively with onsite client teams and internal project teams.

Requirements:

• SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) - Mandatory
• Strong understanding of warehouse management and supply chain execution processes.
• Experience with SAP EWM implementation and/or production support.
• Strong knowledge of inbound, outbound, internal warehouse, and inventory processes.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Good understanding of EWM integration with related SAP processes.
• Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP EWM solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience with NA / relevant additional domain or technical skills.
• SAP S/4HANA EWM experience.

• Exposure to warehouse quality management and inventory control processes.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP EWM implementation or rollout projects.

Experience and Education:

• 3+-6 years of relevant experience in SAP EWM is required.
• Minimum overall experience of 3+ years, with strong hands-on SAP EWM expertise.
• 15 years of full-time formal education is mandatory.
