Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business system components. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of essential applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and collaboration with different teams to maintain system reliability and efficiency throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime.
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
• Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.
• Continuously monitor system health and recommend improvements to enhance system stability and performance.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
• Experience in managing system installations, configurations, and upgrades within SAP environments.
• Strong understanding of system performance tuning and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to manage database administration tasks related to SAP systems.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
• This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
