As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective, diligently investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain business continuity and system reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system dependencies and impact of issues.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
• Assist in the testing and validation of application updates and patches to ensure stability.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Application Packaging.
• Experience with software deployment tools and packaging standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve application-related issues.
• Familiarity with operating system environments and their impact on application performance.
• Ability to work with configuration management and version control systems.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
