Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 application support for credit-card applications and related systems.
• Monitor production applications, identify issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot application, batch, interface, and database-related incidents.
• Analyze Unix/Linux logs and perform basic shell scripting for support and automation.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation, investigation, and issue resolution.
• Support FIS VisionPLUS modules and credit-card processing applications.
• Investigate transaction failures, batch failures, file-processing issues, and interface problems.
• Coordinate with development, database, infrastructure, and business teams for complex issues.
• Perform incident, problem, and change management in accordance with ITIL processes.
• Participate in production deployments, release validation, and post-deployment checks.
• Prepare support documentation, knowledge articles, and incident RCA reports.
• Participate in rotational/on-call support when required.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Unix/Linux environments.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Practical experience with FIS VisionPLUS or equivalent credit-card processing platforms.
• Understanding of credit-card lifecycle and transaction processing.
• Experience troubleshooting production applications and analyzing logs.
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting.
• Good understanding of batch processing, scheduling, file handling, and system interfaces.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in banking, financial services, or credit-card domain.
• Knowledge of VisionPLUS modules such as CMS, TRAMS, VMX, and/or CDM.
• Experience with incident-management tools such as ServiceNow.
• Exposure to application monitoring tools and job schedulers.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Experience with APIs, file-based interfaces, and payment/transaction systems.
