Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying challenges, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with complex environments to maintain system reliability and support business continuity through effective problem-solving and timely interventions.



Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline issue resolution and enhance system performance.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor system health and proactively identify potential risks to prevent disruptions.




Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS).
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex software issues within enterprise planning and budgeting environments.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Oracle Planning and Budgeting applications.
- Ability to interpret and analyze system logs and error messages to identify root causes.
- Familiarity with integration points between Oracle Planning and Budgeting and other enterprise systems.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders.


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
