Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and collaboration with different teams to maintain service reliability and efficiency throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of application issues.
• Document and communicate findings and solutions clearly to stakeholders.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster their development.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure PaaS.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure management and deployment on Microsoft Azure platform.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving application and infrastructure issues.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and alerting systems to maintain application health.
• Ability to analyze logs and system metrics to identify root causes of incidents.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting to streamline support tasks and improve efficiency.
