As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system dependencies and impact of issues.
• Document findings and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance system stability.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Ab Initio.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities related to complex software systems.
• Experience with monitoring and diagnosing issues in enterprise-level applications.
• Ability to analyze logs and system outputs to identify root causes of failures.
• Familiarity with data processing workflows and batch job management.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
