Application Support Engineer - Opentext Documentum

We are looking for an experienced OpenText Documentum professional to join our team as an application support engineer. The role involves supporting enterprise archiving and document access solutions, with a focus on document archiving, enterprise content management, data retention, information lifecycle management, compliance, and digital document accessibility.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain OpenText Documentum and enterprise archiving solutions.
• Work on enterprise archiving strategy and document management requirements.
• Support OpenText repository design and configuration activities.
• Work with SAP ArchiveLink configuration and document archiving.
• Support data retention and governance frameworks.
• Prepare functional specifications and technical documentation.
• Define and support archiving and migration strategies.
• Prepare test scripts and support UAT activities and sign-off.
• Support cutover and go-live activities.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer documentation.
• Identify and resolve application issues across critical business systems.
• Work collaboratively with client and project teams.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks through to closure.
• Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate willingness to learn.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Requirements:

• Education: 15 years of full-time education.
• Must-have skills: OpenText Documentum, OpenText Documentum Administration, OpenText Repository, Document Management, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Document Archiving, SAP ArchiveLink, SAP Archiving, Data Retention, Information Lifecycle Management, Repository Design, Document Management Systems, Archiving, and Migration.
• Good-to-have skills: SAP S/4HANA, SAP Archiving, SAP ArchiveLink Configuration, Enterprise Content Management, Data Governance, Compliance and Retention Management, Data Volume Management, UAT, Cutover, and Go-Live Support.
• 3-5 years of experience in OpenText Documentum.
• Strong experience in document management and enterprise content management.
• Experience with OpenText repository concepts and design.
• Knowledge of document archiving and data retention.
• Experience with SAP ArchiveLink/SAP Archiving is preferred.
• Experience with archiving and migration activities.
• Good understanding of testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live support.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a 100% client-facing onsite environment.
