Application Support Engineer-Immediate Joiner-Mumbai

Role & responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 application support for lending applications and loan processing systems.
• Monitor loan origination, loan servicing, repayment, disbursement, and collection workflows.
• Troubleshoot application issues related to loan applications, credit checks, eligibility, interest calculations, EMI schedules, and repayment processing.
• Analyze application logs and execute SQL queries to investigate production issues.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and change requests using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Coordinate with development, QA, infrastructure, database, and business teams to resolve issues.
• Support batch jobs, scheduled processes, API integrations, and third-party system interfaces.
• Investigate transaction failures, payment discrepancies, and data mismatches.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and prepare incident reports.
• Monitor SLAs and ensure timely resolution of production incidents.
• Support application releases, deployments, patches, and post-deployment validation.
• Maintain support documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Follow banking security policies, data privacy requirements, and change management procedures.
