Job Title: Application Security Engineer / Lead

Location: Kochi We are seeking an experienced

Application Security Engineer/Lead to strengthen the security of our B2B SaaS platform by embedding security across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role involves conducting application security assessments, threat modeling, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform code reviews, threat modeling, and application security assessments.
• Identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities in web applications, APIs, and cloud-native environments.
• Conduct penetration testing and validate security controls.
• Integrate SAST, DAST, SCA, and secrets scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide security guidance on application architecture, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps teams to implement secure SDLC and shift-left security.

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience in Application Security or related cybersecurity roles.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, API Security, REST APIs, and common web vulnerabilities.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Snyk, Trivy, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, DefectDojo, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), AWS/Azure, containers, and Kubernetes security.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and secure software development practices.
