Application Security Consultant

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design and implement secure web applications using industry best practices, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAST) to identify potential security risks and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Collaborate with development teams to develop secure coding guidelines, policies, and procedures for web application development.
• Provide expert guidance on application security architecture, including threat modeling, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.

Job Requirements :

• 9-15 years of experience in IT services & consulting with a focus on application security.
• Certifications such as CEH, CISA, CISSP, OSCP or equivalent are required; additional certifications like VAPT are an asset.
• Strong understanding of web application security principles and practices; ability to apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios.
