We are looking for an experienced Application Packaging Engineer with strong expertise in Windows Installer (MSI) technologies, SCCM, Intune, InstallShield, and PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT). The candidate will be responsible for creating, upgrading, testing, and maintaining software installation packages while ensuring smooth enterprise application deployment across Windows environments.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong understanding of Windows Installer (MSI/MSP/MST) concepts.
• Hands-on experience with InstallShield Packaging Tool.
• Experience in SCCM and Microsoft Intune application deployment.
• Good knowledge of PowerShell Scripting and PSADT.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Experience with software packaging QA and validation processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple packaging requests

Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain application installation packages using InstallShield.
• Convert and migrate application packages from SCCM to Microsoft Intune compatible formats.
• Rework, upgrade, and enhance existing application packages based on business requirements.
• Create new installation packages from raw source files and vendor-provided media.
• Develop and maintain InstallShield Custom Actions and deployment scripts.
• Work extensively with PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) for application deployment automation.
• Perform packaging validation, quality assurance, and testing to ensure successful software installation.
• Troubleshoot packaging and deployment issues using tools such as Process Monitor (ProcMon), Process Explorer (ProcExp), InstallRite, and other diagnostic utilities.
• Research, analyze, and resolve complex application packaging problems independently.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, packaging standards, and deployment procedures.
• Support software deployment through SCCM and Microsoft Intune environments.
