Position Focus:
Responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, performance, security, and operational stability of production applications and their supporting platforms. The role provides application-agnostic Level 2 production support and administration across a diverse technology landscape, including incident and problem resolution, monitoring, application and system administration, configuration, deployments, patching, upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, and recovery activities. The position proactively identifies operational risks and recurring issues, drives root-cause analysis and automation, and coordinates with Level 3 engineering teams, infrastructure, database, security, vendors, and other technology teams as required. The role also ensures production readiness through standardized monitoring, runbooks, support models, recovery procedures, documentation, change controls, and continuous improvement practices.

Position Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, related engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Available to work during Americas core working hours
• Fluent in English
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Vendor technical certifications are recommended

System Administrator for the following applications used by Lear Product Engineers to design Lears products:

• Capital XC w/library synchronization
• Azure Devops
• Other Engineering systems and applications

• Application support

• User management where applicable
• Database reindexing/upgrade coordination
