Job Summary
We are looking for an Application Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or industrial products. The role involves business development, pre-sales technical consultation, customer handling, product demonstrations, and technical solution selling, with a strong focus on adhesive product technologies and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strong knowledge of adhesive product technologies, applications, specifications, and engineering principles.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Meet prospective customers regularly to understand their technical and business requirements.
- Recommend appropriate adhesive solutions and product applications based on customer needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, institutions, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and pre-sales consultations.
- Support customers with technical troubleshooting and application-related queries.
- Build and maintain a healthy project and sales pipeline to achieve business growth targets.
- Work closely with the Purchase, Accounts, Management, and Sales teams to ensure smooth customer operations.
- Coordinate with internal teams for procurement, billing, payment-related queries, and customer requirements.
- Prepare and submit sales reports and customer updates within defined deadlines.
- Regularly travel within the assigned territory for customer meetings and business development activities.
Required Skills
- Technical knowledge of industrial adhesives and adhesive applications.
- Strong technical sales and business development skills.
- Knowledge of pre-sales and technical consultation.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and engineering requirements.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.

Ideal Candidate
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in Application Engineering, Technical Sales, Industrial Sales, or related fields.
- Experience dealing with OEMs, manufacturers, institutions, or industrial customers will be preferred.
- Candidates should be comfortable with extensive field travel and daily customer meetings.
