Responsibilities
Job Summary
Provide post-sales technical support for Keysight Network Visibility and Security Solutions across India and APAC, including troubleshooting, deployment guidance, issue resolution, and best-practice recommendations.
This role requires expertise in NPBs, Bypass Switches, Cloud Visibility, Security Infrastructure, and enterprise network architectures, while collaborating with customers, Engineering, Product, Sales, and Professional Services to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for Keysight Network Visibility and Security products across APAC.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues across NPBs, Bypass Switches, TAPs, Visibility Nodes, and related appliances.
- Analyze PCAPs, logs, and diagnostics to identify and resolve customer issues.
- Support deployment, configuration, upgrades, migration, and maintenance of visibility infrastructure.
- Guide customers on high-availability, traffic filtering, load balancing, and traffic optimization designs.
- Integrate visibility solutions with IDS/IPS, NDR, SIEM, APM, NPM, and observability tools.
- Support cloud visibility across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments.
- Assist with SSL/TLS visibility, decryption workflows, metadata generation, and traffic distribution.
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, VLAN, VXLAN, MPLS, TCP/IP, GRE, ERSPAN, SPAN, and multicast issues.
- Perform RCA and provide corrective and preventive action reports.
- Reproduce issues in lab environments and work with Engineering on defects and hardware issues.
- Share defect analysis, enhancement requests, and customer use cases with Product Engineering.
- Create KB articles, technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
- Support upgrades, firmware updates, hardware replacements, and migration projects.
- Manage escalations with timely customer communication.
- Deliver remote troubleshooting, occasional onsite support, and technical workshops.
- Collaborate with Sales, Professional Services, Product Management, and Engineering to improve customer experience.
- Participate in on-call or critical support activities as required.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
Network Visibility
- Strong knowledge of Network Visibility architecture and traffic optimization.
- Experience with NPBs, Bypass Switches, TAPs, aggregation, filtering, slicing, masking, and load balancing.
- Experience with Keysight/Ixia, Gigamon, NETSCOUT/VSS, cPacket, Arista DANZ, or similar platforms.
Networking
- Good understanding of Layer 2-7 networking concepts.
Cloud Infrastructure
Experience with cloud networking and visibility across AWS, Azure, GCP, hybrid cloud, vTAPs, cloud-native packet visibility, and Kubernetes/container networking preferred.
Security Knowledge
Working knowledge of NDR, IDS/IPS, NGFW, SIEM, SOAR, SWG, ZTNA, SSL/TLS inspection, threat detection, incident response, packet forensics, and MITRE ATTCK preferred.
Experience integrating visibility solutions with Darktrace, Vectra AI, ExtraHop, Riverbed, Allegro, Microsoft Defender, Palo Alto, Cisco Secure, CrowdStrike, Trellix, FireEye, Splunk, QRadar, or similar tools.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and customer management skills.
