Application Database Administrator – RDBMS / Couchbase & NoSQL

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Couchbase Server clusters and NoSQL databases.
• Perform cluster configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Work with N1QL queries, indexing, and query optimization.
• Manage Couchbase XDCR, replication, high availability, backup, and recovery.
• Design and maintain NoSQL data models and database architecture.
• Manage Couchbase Capella deployments, configuration, security, and optimization.
• Support migration of on-premise Couchbase workloads to Couchbase Capella.
• Work with Capella APIs and application integrations.
• Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or Perl.
• Automate database monitoring, health checks, backup, recovery, and maintenance.
• Develop and manage Ansible Playbooks for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Troubleshoot database, Linux/Unix, performance, and application-related issues.
• Implement database security and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
