• Strong experience with Playwright and/or Selenium
• API automation using REST Assured, Karate, or equivalent frameworks
• Mobile automation using Appium
• Automation development using Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Framework component development and reusable asset creation

Quality Engineering Practices

• Functional, integration, system, and end-to-end testing
• Service virtualization and test data management
• Shift-left testing practices
• Test strategy and risk-based quality planning

CI/CD & DevOps

• Automated test integration within CI/CD pipelines
• Quality gate implementation
• Git-based development workflows
• Containerized testing using Docker

Accessibility & Non-Functional Testing

• Accessibility testing using WCAG standards
• Automated accessibility scanning tools (Axe, Accessibility Insights)
• Performance testing fundamentals
• Resilience and chaos testing concepts

Data & Architecture

• SQL and database validation
• Microservices testing
• Event-driven architecture validation
• Cloud platform testing fundamentals

AI-Enabled Quality Engineering

• GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent tools
• AI-assisted test generation
• Test impact analysis and defect prediction concepts

Preferred Skills

• Banking, Payments, or Financial Services experience
• Performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, k6)
• Kubernetes/OpenShift exposure
• Test data automation experience
• Experience with Agentic AI-enabled SDLC platforms

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable test automation frameworks and libraries
• Automate UI, API, mobile, and backend validation
• Implement accessibility and non-functional testing automation
• Integrate automation into CI/CD delivery pipelines
• Improve regression speed, stability, and coverage
• Support production observability and validation efforts
• Mentor junior engineers in automation best practices
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate automation development and maintenance
• Drive measurable improvements in automation coverage and execution efficiency
