API Automation Tester

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests for APIs using Python and Rest Assured.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and create test plans.
• Develop continuous integration pipelines using Kafka to integrate API testing into the CI/CD process.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of automated testing into the overall testing strategy.
• Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the API testing process through automation.

Job Requirements :

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design principles.
• Proficiency in Python programming language with experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Kafka and Rest Assured is desirable.
• A strong background in software development or QA engineering is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is essential.
