Job Title: API Automation Test Engineer
Experience: 5 to 9 Years

Required Skills

• 5-9 years of experience in software testing with strong expertise in API Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience in API testing and automation using Rest Assured, Postman, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Strong programming skills in Java with experience in developing and maintaining API automation frameworks.
• Experience in validating RESTful APIs, Web Services, JSON, XML, and Microservices architecture.
• Good understanding of TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Gradle, and Git.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.
• Experience in backend testing, database validation, and SQL queries.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure Boards, etc.
• Experience in automation of API test cases, regression suites, and integration testing.
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, Basic Authentication, and API security testing concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
