API Automation Tester (RestAssured)

Job Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated API test scripts using Rest Assured and Java.
• Validate RESTful APIs for functionality, reliability, performance, and security.
• Create and execute test cases, test plans, and regression test suites.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Generate test execution reports and maintain test documentation.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in API Automation Testing using Rest Assured and Java.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, request/response validation, and JSON/XML.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit and Maven/Gradle.
• Hands-on experience with Git version control.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
