Job Summary - APAC tax compliance. Direct Taxes and Indirect taxes.

Job Description- Assistance in direct and indirect tax compliance of the following countries: - Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, UAE Singapore, Malaysia, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Hongkong, Australia and New Zealand.

Job Description

Transfer Pricing: Coordination for TP study & certification, periodic review of TP margins, internal transfer pricing documentation, advising on structuring of arrangements and TP assessments and litigation.

Tax planning and structuring: Exploring and executing tax planning options to optimize the Group's effective tax rate.

Tax accounting, audit and risk assessment: Managing tax accounting including current tax and deferred tax adjustments. Working closely with statutory auditors for direct tax related matters. Periodic risk assessment of open tax matters and adjustments in tax provisioning.

US Tax accounting and reporting: Review of the tax positions adopted from ASC 740 perspective (FIN 48) and analyze the need for FIN 48 reserve and quantify the same. SoX reporting and compliance.

Change management: Updating the Key management & finance team on the recent developments and changes in the laws, Periodic training of finance teams to ensure strict compliance of direct tax laws.

WHT Compliances: Reviewing and managing the WHT compliances to ensure strict compliance, day-to-day advisory on WHT related matters.

Review of GST returns viz. GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, computation of RCM and supporting the cross functional teams on GST queries from time to time.
