Anodizing Line operators-Semi/ Fully Auto (Aerospace)

Role & responsibilities

• Equipment Knowledge: Rectifier operation (manual/auto mode, PLC/SCADA system for automatic lines, hoist operation for auto/manual override, jigging & racking methods).
• Semi-Automatic Line: Manual loading/unloading of parts, setting process parameters (current, time, temp.), monitoring tank conditions, recording process data manually, identifying visual defects (burning, pitting, patchiness).
• Fully Automatic Line: Operation of PLC-controlled systems, recipe selection & validation, alarm handling & troubleshooting, HMI interface usage, data logging & traceability system operation.
• Thickness measurement (micron level)
• Understanding quality acceptance criteria.
• Seal quality test
• Adhesion test
• Documentation (process log sheets, batch records, traceability requirements)
• Mandatory knowledge of chemical handling (HSO, Nitric acid, etc.)
• PPE usage: Acid-resistant gloves, face shield, apron
• Emergency procedures: Acid spill response, first aid for chemical exposure
• Electrical safety (rectifier systems)
• Basic awareness & knowledge of NADCAP & AS 9100.
• Willingness to learn & Good Attitude.
