We are seeking a driven and customer-focused sales professional to join our annuity distribution team. As a Deputy Manager – Annuity, your primary responsibility will be to source and manage institutional and individual annuity business including superannuation scheme conversions, retirement corpus management mandates, NPS retiree annuity purchases and other long-term income solutions.

The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of retirement financial planning, insurance-linked annuity products, and experience in managing HNI/Institutional relationships in a consultative sales environment.

Key Functional Responsibilities:

• Prospecting and lead generation – Identify and approach potential annuity clients including employers, trustees, and HNIs. Build a strong sales pipeline by understanding their post-retirement planning needs.
• Drive conversions of accumulated retirement benefits from company superannuation plans OR NPS to annuity products at the point of employee retirement or maturity of group schemes.
• Engage deeply with internal stakeholders such as Group Operations, Product, and Investments teams to craft optimal annuity proposals tailored to client requirements.
• Manage relationships with large corporate clients, nodal officers, NPS entities and key distributors to ensure steady flow of annuity business.
• Ensure policy issuance, documentation, and regulatory compliance for all annuity sales.
• Stay abreast of regulatory trends, annuity pricing changes, and product enhancements to effectively communicate with clients.
• Meet or exceed individual annuity sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Key Managerial Responsibilities:

This role is an individual contributor; hence no managerial responsibilities are directly attributed.

Qualification required: Graduation / MBA

Years of experience: Preferred experience in annuity/retirement product sales, HNI or institutional sales, wealth management or corporate sales.

Technical skills required:

• Passion for reading and staying abreast of current affairs
• Interest in the Retirement & Pensions industry
• Domain knowledge of annuities, superannuation & retirement planning solutions, if experienced
• Excellent communication skills – English & regional language (mandatory)
• Financial planning acumen and ability to simplify complex retirement income propositions
