Animated Video Editor, Graphic Designer & UI/UX Designer (CTC 3 to 4 LPA)

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar for an Animated Video Editor, Graphic Designer & UI/UX Designer (CTC 3 to 4 LPA). The role involves conceptualizing and producing animated videos, handling end-to-end video editing, and applying color grading and motion graphics to create engaging content for digital platforms. The designer will develop visual assets, graphics, and layouts for web, social media, and print materials, while maintaining brand consistency across all media. In addition, the role includes designing intuitive UI/UX for web and mobile interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and iterating on feedback to optimize user experience. The team member will be expected to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and contribute creative ideas to support EduSkills’ educational and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for educational and promotional content.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and high-quality output.
• Experience in Motion Graphics and animated storytelling for digital media.
• Ability to create compelling Graphics and visual assets aligned with brand guidelines.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma or similar).
• Understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and user-centered workflows.
• Strong visual design sense, attention to detail, and ability to translate concepts into clear visual narratives.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and time-management skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant degree or certification in Design, Multimedia, Animation, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
• Previous experience in education, non-profit projects, or social impact initiatives is an advantage. ### Key Responsibilities #### 🎬 Animated Video & Motion Graphics •⁠ ⁠Create animated videos, motion graphics, promotional videos, reels, and social media content. •⁠ ⁠Create 2D animations, text animations, transitions, visual effects, and explainer videos. •⁠ ⁠Edit existing videos, animations, and graphics based on requirements and feedback. •⁠ ⁠Work with existing project/source files and make required changes while maintaining the original design and animation structure. •⁠ ⁠Create engaging visual content for marketing, educational, promotional, and digital platforms. #### 🎨 Graphic Design •⁠ ⁠Design social media creatives, banners, posters, thumbnails, presentations, advertisements, and marketing materials. •⁠ ⁠Create creative designs while maintaining brand guidelines and visual consistency. •⁠ ⁠Develop graphics and visual assets for websites, applications, social media, and marketing campaigns. •⁠ ⁠Retrieve, organize, and manage existing creative/project files and assets. •⁠ ⁠Maintain proper file organization and version control for design and video projects. #### 🖥️ UI/UX Design •⁠ ⁠Design user interfaces for *websites, web applications, and mobile applications*. •⁠ ⁠Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs. •⁠ ⁠Develop clean, modern, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces. •⁠ ⁠Create and maintain reusable design components and design systems. •⁠ ⁠Understand user requirements and convert them into intuitive UI/UX solutions. •⁠ ⁠Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately. •⁠ ⁠Review implemented designs and provide UI improvements and feedback. •⁠ ⁠Conduct basic user research and usability analysis when required. ### Required Skills •⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of *Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator*. •⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of *Figma* for UI/UX design and prototyping. •⁠ ⁠Experience with *2D animation and motion graphics*. •⁠ ⁠Strong graphic design and visual storytelling skills. •⁠ ⁠Good understanding of UI/UX principles, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and responsive design. •⁠ ⁠Ability to work with existing editable project/source files. •⁠ ⁠Good understanding of typography, layouts, color theory, spacing, transitions, and visual effects. •⁠ ⁠Understanding of web and mobile design standards. •⁠ ⁠Strong attention to detail and creativity. •⁠ ⁠Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. ### Preferred Skills •⁠ ⁠Experience with *Canva, Blender, Adobe XD, or similar tools*. •⁠ ⁠Knowledge of design systems and component-based UI design. •⁠ ⁠Basic understanding of *HTML, CSS, and responsive web design* is an advantage. •⁠ ⁠Experience designing dashboards, landing pages, mobile applications, or SaaS products. •⁠ ⁠Knowledge of AI-based creative and design tools is a plus. ### Experience •⁠ ⁠*1–3 years* of experience in animation, video editing, graphic design, and/or UI/UX design. •⁠ ⁠Candidates should have a strong *portfolio/showreel* demonstrating: * Animated videos and motion graphics * Graphic design work * UI/UX projects •⁠ ⁠Candidates should be comfortable handling projects from *concept → design → animation/editing → final output*.
