Angular Front-End Developer

Role Overview We are looking for an Angular Front-End Developer to develop, enhance and modernize the user interfaces that support BioLIMS laboratory operations. The role will work across multiple active applications while helping move the estate toward current Angular, .NET and Node.js standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain five Angular-based user interface applications supporting the BioLIMS estate.
• Deliver new features, defect fixes and usability improvements in collaboration with product, support and backend teams.
• Upgrade and modernize applications currently spanning Angular 15.2.6 through Angular 21.2.16, with Angular 21 as the target standard.
• Build responsive, accessible and maintainable UI components using TypeScript, HTML, CSS and Angular Material or Material UI patterns.
• Integrate front ends with C# .NET APIs and troubleshoot end-to-end application behavior.
• Maintain application quality through peer review, testing, performance tuning and clear technical documentation.
• Package and deploy UI applications to Azure App Service on Windows using the existing compressed-file deployment approach.

Required Skills And Experience

• Strong hands-on Angular development experience, including modern Angular architecture and upgrade work.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RxJS and REST API integration.
• Experience with Angular Material or Material-based component libraries, responsive design and browser troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with Node.js, npm package management, Git and front-end testing practices.
• Ability to work with legacy and modern application versions while preserving production stability.

Preferred Experience

• Experience deploying web applications to Azure App Service on Windows.
• Exposure to .NET backend services and LIMS or laboratory workflows.
