About this role
We are looking for an experienced Android Power and Performance Engineer to join our SystemHealth team. The role focuses on analysing and optimising power consumption, system performance, thermal behaviour, and memory utilisation on Android-based devices.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux Kernel, C, C++ and Device Drivers.
- Good understanding of Clock Handling and CPU Scheduling.
- Experience in one or more Android mobile areas: Power Analysis and Optimisation, Performance Improvement, Thermal Analysis and Optimisation, Memory Optimisation.
- Knowledge of Low-Power Mode handling.
- Hands-on experience with bugreport analysis and ADB.
- Experience with performance/profiling tools such as ftrace, Perfetto and systrace.
- 5-9 years of relevant experience, preferably involving Android/mobile system analysis.
- Working knowledge of the AOSP environment.
