Job Title :Android Platform Developer Experience: 4-5 Years

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Android Platform Developer with hands-on experience in automotive system bring-up and Android platform development for instrument cluster or cockpit systems. The candidate should have strong expertise in Android BSP, boot-up flows, hardware-software integration, and debugging on leading automotive SoCs such as Qualcomm and MediaTek platfo The role involves working closely with hardware, BSP, middleware, HMI, and validation teams to enable Android Automotive features, optimize system performance, and support production-grade automotive programs.

Key Responsibilities · Perform Android platform bring-up for automotive cluster/cockpit systems. · Integrate and debug Android BSP components on Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets. · Work on bootloader, kernel, device tree, HAL, SELinux, init services, and Android framework integration. · Analyze and resolve boot-time issues, crashes, ANRs, watchdog resets, and performance bottlenecks. · Enable and debug automotive peripherals such CAN, Ethernet, SPI/I2C/UART, Audio, Display, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, Camera · Work with Android log systems including logcat, dmesg, tombstones, dumpsys · Optimize boot time, memory usage, and system stability for production programs. · Collaborate with HMI/application teams for feature integration and issue resolution. · Support OTA updates, security compliance, and system diagnostics. · Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions. · Work closely with OEM/Tier-1 stakeholders during integration and validation phases.

Required Skills · Strong experience in Android platform/BSP development. · Hands-on experience in automotive cluster or cockpit bring-up. · Good understanding of: o Android boot sequence o Linux kernel o Android HAL architecture o SELinux o AOSP build system o Vendor partitions and OTA · Experience with Qualcomm and/or MediaTek automotive platforms. · Strong debugging skills using: o adb o fastboot o JTAG/logging tools o trace tools · Experience in native programming using: o C o C++ o Java/Kotlin basics · Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and CI/CD workflows. · Good understanding of embedded Linux and automotive software architecture.

Preferred Skills · Experience with AOSP or AAOS. · Experience in performance optimization and boot-time reduction. · Exposure to virtualization/hypervisor-based cockpit systems is a plus. · Experience with display stack, graphics, and multi-display systems.

Education · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: o Computer Science o Electronics o Embedded Systems

Nice to Have · Experience with cluster graphics pipelines and display bring-up. · Exposure to Android Auto or connected vehicle systems. · Knowledge of power management and thermal optimization in embedded systems. · Experience in production vehicle programs.
