Android Framework Developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications on the Android platform, working across different layers of full stack development including Android application layer, Android framework, Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL), and Kernel.
• Utilize expertise in multimedia domain, with a focus on camera, audio, or video functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test features that involve both user interface and system-level functionality.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues at various levels of the software stack, including Kernel and framework components.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices are adhered to throughout the development process.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on Android development.
• In-depth knowledge of Android application development, Android framework, HAL, and Kernel.
• Specialized experience in the multimedia domain, with a strong emphasis on camera, audio, or video functionalities.
• Expertise in the power domain, particularly in optimizing and improving battery performance.
• Proficiency in programming languages: C, C++, and Java.
• Strong debugging skills and experience resolving complex technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Previous experience working on projects involving Kernel development.
• Familiarity with hardware and software interactions in Android devices.
• Knowledge of low-level system architecture.
