Android Developer

Role Overview We are looking for a

Senior Android Developer capable of owning Android application development end-to-end. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong architectural skills, and the ability to execute rapidly in a startup setting without compromising code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance native Android applications
• Own application architecture, codebase quality, and production releases
• Collaborate cross-functionally with backend, design, and product teams
• Implement scalable, maintainable, and testable Android solutions
• Manage Play Store submissions, versioning, and release management
• Monitor and resolve production issues efficiently
• Set coding standards and provide technical guidance to the team

Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in

Kotlin (Java as a secondary skill is acceptable)

• Experience with

Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation)

• Solid understanding of Android app architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Experience integrating

RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of local data storage (Room, SQLite)
• Experience with push notifications (FCM)
• Strong understanding of Android app lifecycle and background processing
• Familiarity with

Play Store publishing , policies, and CI/CD workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in startup or high-growth product environments
• Knowledge of mobile performance optimization and memory management
• Experience with analytics and crash reporting tools
• Familiarity with Android security best practices
