Android Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable kotlin/java code for Android Mobile Applications.
• Designs maintain and continuously improve the application-based requirements and user feedback.
• Ensures the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Create a secure, seamless mobile experience.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Write Unit and UI test cases to identify malfunctions.
• Works towards identifying and correcting bottlenecks by fixing bugs in the code/application.
• Helps maintain code quality, code optimization, and automation.

Requirements:

• Have experience in creating Android applications from scratch and working on multiple Android versions and devices.
• Required Skills: Data Structures and Algorithms, Design Patterns, and Android architecture components.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Kotlin, and UI Controls.
• Demonstrated ability to design and build dynamic multi-threaded mobile apps and SDKs.
• Familiarity with SOLID Principles.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience publishing a high-quality Android application to the Google Play Store.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
• Experience working with remote data via REST API and JSON.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• B. Tech/B. S or M. Tech/M. S in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Android development experience.
