Android Developer

We are looking for a strong Android Developer with hands-on automotive infotainment experience to build and enhance next-generation connected automotive experiences. This is not a conventional Android application development role. The ideal candidate should have worked on infotainment/IVI systems, automotive HMI, Android Automotive OS (AAOS), or AOSP-based platforms and be comfortable working across Android applications and platform layers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Android-based applications and infotainment features.
• Develop applications using Kotlin and Java for automotive infotainment systems.
• Work with Android Automotive OS (AAOS), AOSP, and Android Framework.
• Develop and integrate features related to: Infotainment / IVI, HMI, Audio and media, Bluetooth / Wi-Fi / USB, Navigation, Connectivity, Vehicle information and controls.
• Work closely with platform, middleware, firmware, and hardware teams.
• Debug issues across application, framework, and platform layers.
• Participate in architecture, design, development, integration, and testing.
• Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and responsiveness in an automotive environment.
• Work with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and technology partners where required.
• Contribute to production-grade software deployed in real-world automotive systems.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Android development.
• Strong Kotlin development experience.
• Good knowledge of Java.
• Hands-on experience with automotive infotainment / IVI.
• Experience with AAOS / AOSP.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK and Android Framework.
• Experience with Android application lifecycle, services, activities, and background processing.
• Experience integrating Android applications with system/platform components.
• Good understanding of Linux / embedded systems.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
