As an Android Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in our engineering team, building our Android technical suite and platform using the skills listed below for product pipelines. Attention to high quality and performance throughout the entire development process is required. Communicate with other team developers, PMs, designers, and stakeholders..

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient software solutions. Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Architecture and Design: Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of software systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements, scalability, and performance goals.
• Problem Solving: Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues, proposing and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to coding standards. Implement and advocate for automated testing and continuous integration practices.
• Collaboration and Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and other departments, providing updates on project progress, technical challenges, and solutions.
• Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software engineering. Share knowledge and insights with the team to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Kotlin/Android developer w/ 2-3 years experience.
• Familiar with Modern Android Development (e.g. Model-View-ViewModel architecture).
• In-depth knowledge of software engineering best practices, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Agile).
• Demonstrated ability to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
