About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with strong expertise in building, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with modern Android technologies, excellent programming skills, and the ability to work on scalable, production-ready applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications.
• Build scalable and high-performance mobile applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Work closely with product, UI/UX, QA, and backend teams to deliver quality applications.
• Integrate REST APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services.
• Implement clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.
• Optimize application performance, stability, and responsiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development frameworks and best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Android Application Development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Experience with Jetpack components / Jetpack Compose.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API integration.
• Experience with Retrofit / OkHttp.
• Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar design patterns.
• Experience with Room / SQLite databases.
• Familiarity with Firebase and related services.
• Good understanding of Git/GitHub and version control.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI development.
• Knowledge of Coroutines and Flow.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Exposure to mobile application security and performance optimization.
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store.

Candidate Profile

• Strong hands-on Android development experience.
• Ability to independently handle development tasks and resolve technical challenges.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and coding best practices.
