    • Write clean, readable, maintainable, and reusable code.
    • Follow defined coding guidelines, architecture principles, and development standards.
    • Develop appropriate unit tests and automated tests for implemented features and bug fixes.
    • Perform code reviews and address review comments effectively.
    • Ensure changes do not introduce regressions in existing functionality.
    • Analyze logs, crashes, stack traces, and system behavior to identify issues.
    • Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, UX teams, and other engineering teams to resolve tickets.
    • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide accurate technical estimates and status updates.
    • Maintain proper technical documentation for implemented features and fixes.
    • Work closely with teams and stakeholders supporting German automotive OEM projects.

    Required Technical Skills

    • 510 years of professional software development experience.
    • Strong hands-on experience in Android application development.
    • Strong programming skills in Kotlin and/or Java.

    • Understanding of AOSP and Android Framework is highly desirable.
    • Experience developing HMI / infotainment applications.
    • Good understanding of modern Android architecture such as MVVM/MVI.
    • Experience with Jetpack/AndroidX; Jetpack Compose knowledge is a plus.
    • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
    • Hands-on experience with Git/Gerrit or similar version-control and code-review systems.

    Automotive Skills

    • Experience in Automotive Infotainment / HMI / Cockpit development.
    • Understanding of Vehicle HAL (VHAL) and vehicle-related Android services is preferred.
    • Knowledge of automotive interfaces such as CAN, SOME/IP,
    • Experience working with OEM-specific HMI requirements is desirable.
    • Knowledge of automotive software development processes such as ASPICE is a plus.

    What We Look For

    • Strong ownership of assigned development tickets.
    • Ability to independently analyze an issue, identify the root cause, implement the fix, test it, and deliver the change.
    • Good understanding of existing code before making modifications.
    • Attention to detail and a strong quality mindset.
    • Ability to work in a structured engineering environment with high expectations around software quality and delivery.
    • Good communication skills and ability to work with international teams, including stakeholders from German OEMs.
