As a Data Analytics Analyst within Markets Operations in Commercial and Investment Banking, you support end-to-end delivery of data remediation and analytics initiatives from initiation through closure. As a Data Analytics Analyst within Markets Operations in Commercial and Investment Banking, you partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into well-documented deliverables, insights, and actions across systems and processes. Job Responsibilities:
- Manage data remediation and analytics projects from initiation to closure, ensuring disciplined execution through all phases.
- Analyze data quality through trend and variance monitoring, root-cause investigation, and impact assessment.
- Define and document data definitions and lineage, recommending remediation actions aligned to business outcomes.
- Capture and maintain requirements, objectives and key results, and core project documentation to support intake and closure.
- Generate actionable insights from data, identifying linkages across systems, processes, and trade flows.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to enable successful delivery.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and team members to unblock progress and resolve issues as they arise.
- Track milestones and timelines, providing clear status updates to the project lead and management.
- Summarize outcomes through post-project reviews and documentation to enable continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Hold a bachelor s degree with relevant technology and business experience.
- Bring 4+ years of experience in data analytics or data solutions, including project management for analytics and data remediation initiatives in financial services.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the trade life cycle, client onboarding (Know Your Customer), reference and static data, corporate actions, and related financial processes.
- Show effective collaboration skills, ownership of deliverables, and consistent execution to high quality within agreed timelines.
- Exhibit strong stakeholder management skills and involvement in transformation program initiatives.
- Apply the ability to learn new business functions, systems, and processes quickly to support a variety of projects.
- Use extract, transform, and load processes and analytics or automation tools such as Alteryx, Python, Tableau, Qlik Sense, UiPath, and Jira to support delivery and tracking.
- Leverage advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to analyze data and present clear, decision-ready insights.
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.
