We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Writer - Analyst to support customer-facing technical documentation for RD products within the Life Science organization. In this role, you will coordinate technical writing activities, prepare and update product documentation, manage content, and support the rebranding of user-guides and related materials. The role is well suited to an early-career professional with a postgraduate qualification in Life Sciences and a strong interest in scientific and technical communication. Training to be on site.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical-writing projects from planning through delivery.
- Prepare and update customer-facing documents like user guides, customer letters, package inserts, templates, and related materials.
- Support the rebranding and standardization of user guides and other controlled content.
- Identify documentation needs, follow up on open items, and communicate progress clearly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Planning, time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Work with stakeholders across geographies to define and set priorities, deadlines, and deliverable schedules.
- Coordinate multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Participate in onsite training and apply relevant processes and tools in day-to-day work.
Basic Qualification
- Experience in preparing or editing scientific, technical, or product documentation.
- Published research papers in indexed journals.
- Familiarity with document templates, content management, or document rebranding activities.
- Interest in Life science products and the ability to understand and communicate scientific information clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to get along well with others and work in a team environment; includes the ability to work with geographically remote teams and/or projects.
- Meticulous and can handle multiple assignments.
Education
- University post-graduate degree: MSc in Life science, Chemistry or related fields like Biotechnology, Biochemistry, etc.
Experience
- Up to 1 year of technical writing experience.
Technical Skills / Competencies
- Microsoft Word - Mandatory
- InDesign - Preferred
- Document management
- Technical and scientific writing
- Editing and proofreading
Additional Local Needs
- This role requires working in the afternoon shift- 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
