    Position Summary

The Communications Specialist - Analyst II serves as an extension of the HR Communications team, supporting the development and execution of communications that help employees and leaders understand key HR programs, initiatives, priorities, and changes.

This role is responsible for developing clear, audience-appropriate written communications, creating communication and cascade plans, and coordinating functional communication plans from initial request through delivery. The Communications Specialist partners closely with U.S.-based HR Communications, Talent Management, Leadership Development, and other HR stakeholders to translate business needs into thoughtful, coordinated communications.

The role independently manages defined communication assignments and workstreams, maintains visibility to communication calendars and deadlines, and helps ensure messages are accurate, consistent, timely, and aligned to broader HR priorities. Success requires strong writing and editing skills, attention to detail, project-management discipline, and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across geographies and time zones.

    Responsibilities

    HR Communications Development

    • Draft, edit, and coordinate written communications supporting HR programs, initiatives, processes, and priorities.
    • Develop clear and concise communications for employee, leader, and HR audiences.
    • Translate complex HR information into accessible, audience-appropriate messaging.
    • Develop communications such as announcements, emails, leader messages, talking points, FAQs, toolkits, presentations, and related materials.
    • Edit and proofread communications for clarity, consistency, accuracy, tone, grammar, and alignment with established standards.
    • Incorporate stakeholder feedback while maintaining message clarity and consistency.

    Communication Cascade Planning

    • Develop communication plans for assigned HR initiatives, identifying audiences, messages, timing, channels, owners, and required deliverables.
    • Build cascade plans that clarify how information should move through leaders, HR teams, managers, and employees.
    • Develop leader and manager resources that support effective message cascade and reinforce consistent communication.
    • Identify communication dependencies, sequencing requirements, and potential gaps before launch.
    • Coordinate communication timing across multiple stakeholder groups to support an organized employee and leader experience.
    • Track communication milestones and follow through on outstanding actions and approvals.

    Functional Communications Planning

    • Support development and maintenance of functional HR communication plans and calendars.
    • Partner with HR stakeholders to understand upcoming initiatives, key dates, communication needs, and audience considerations.
    • Help organize individual communication requests into a coordinated functional plan rather than isolated messages.
    • Identify potential communication conflicts, overlaps, or opportunities to combine and streamline messaging.
    • Maintain visibility to planned communications, key milestones, owners, and status.
    • Support recurring planning discussions and communication reviews with U.S.-based partners.

    Stakeholder Partnership Coordination

    • Serve as a day-to-day communications partner for assigned HR stakeholders and workstreams.
    • Partner closely with the U.S.-based HR Communications team to ensure alignment with communication priorities, standards, and approaches.
    • Gather information and requirements from subject-matter experts and translate them into effective communication deliverables.
    • Manage review and approval cycles and ensure feedback is incorporated accurately and efficiently.
    • Communicate status, risks, dependencies, and required decisions proactively.
    • Build productive working relationships across HR functions, geographies, and organizational levels.

    Communication Operations Project Management

    • Independently manage assigned communications from intake through drafting, review, approval, scheduling, and completion.
    • Maintain communication trackers, calendars, templates, process documentation, and related resources.
    • Manage multiple communication assignments and deadlines simultaneously.
