About this role
Position: Analog Layout Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Job Responsibilities:
* Perform custom analog and mixed-signal IC layout based on circuit schematics and design specifications.
* Develop high-quality layouts for analog blocks, standard cells and mixed-signal circuits.
* Handle floorplanning, placement, routing, matching and layout optimization.
* Implement layout techniques such as common-centroid, interdigitation, symmetry, shielding and dummy devices.
* Work closely with Analog Design, Circuit Design, Physical Verification and Technology/PDK teams.
* Perform DRC, LVS, ERC and PEX checks and resolve physical verification issues.
* Optimize layout for area, performance, matching, parasitics, power and reliability.
* Analyze and minimize the impact of parasitic capacitance/resistance and coupling.
* Support post-layout simulation and resolve layout-related performance issues.
* Ensure layouts comply with foundry design rules and technology-specific requirements.
