Summary:

As an Analog Layout Engineer, a typical day involves designing the physical layout of analog circuits with careful attention to component placement and routing to achieve optimal circuit performance. The role requires addressing challenges such as parasitic effects, signal integrity, and power distribution to ensure the design meets all necessary specifications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to verify that the layout aligns with functional, electrical, and manufacturing requirements, ensuring a seamless transition from design to production. This position demands a balance of technical precision and teamwork to deliver high-quality analog circuit layouts.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the review and validation of analog layout designs to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers by providing guidance and support in layout design techniques and best practices.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and testing teams to address any layout-related issues and optimize production yield.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Analog Layout.
• Strong knowledge of analog circuit design principles and their impact on physical layout.
• Experience with layout tools and software used for analog circuit design.
• Understanding of parasitic extraction and its influence on circuit performance.
• Ability to analyze and mitigate signal integrity and power distribution challenges in analog layouts.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturability and testing considerations in analog layout.
