Job Summary

A leading provider in the tertiary healthcare and perioperative services sector, delivering high-quality surgical and critical-care anesthesia across multi-specialty operating theatres. We seek an experienced clinician to join an on-site anaesthesia team that supports elective and emergency surgical workflows, perioperative pain management, and ICU handovers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based anesthesia (general, spinal and regional/nerve blocks) across elective and emergency operative lists.
• Perform pre-operative assessment, risk stratification, and anesthesia planning for adult surgical patients.
• Provide airway management including advanced techniques and escalate/rescue when required.
• Administer ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks and manage perioperative multimodal analgesia.
• Monitor intraoperative hemodynamics, ventilator settings and titrate anesthetic agents; coordinate post-op transfer and handover to PACU/ICU teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, follow institutional protocols, and participate in morbidity mortality reviews and quality improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

• MD / DNB / DA (Anaesthesia) or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
• Current registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or respective State Medical Council in India.
• Proven clinical experience performing general, spinal and regional blocks in a high-volume operating theatre; independent practice preferred (minimum 3 years recommended).
