Role & responsibilities

• Candidate should have relevant experience in AML Transaction Monitoring with prior team handling or leadership exposure.
• Strong knowledge of core AML transaction monitoring processes, alert investigation, detection scenarios, Level 1 reviews, and Level 2 investigations.
• Ability to manage daily operations, allocate work, monitor productivity, and ensure timely completion of cases within agreed SLAs.
• Responsible for reviewing case quality, providing feedback to analysts, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure suspicious transactions are thoroughly investigated, documented, and escalated to FCC as per process requirements.
• Identify red flags, guide the team on complex cases, and take necessary actions during case review.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, prepare process updates, and support internal audits, quality checks, and governance requirements.
• Excellent communication, people management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are required.
• International Banking / Global Banking experience is mandatory.
