About a minute. You'll make an account on the way through.
About this role
About the Role
You will manage Amazon advertising for several of our client brands, covering Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display. On each account you will own bids, keywords, negatives, budgets and the weekly search term review.
Most problems on an Amazon ad account build up slowly. A search term stops converting, a competitor raises bids on a key keyword, or a product goes out of stock while its ads keep spending. Your job is to catch these early, within the week, not at the monthly review.
We have written SOPs for campaign structure, keyword harvesting, negation and target setting. Our in-house tool, the Meridian Intelligence Layer, handles most of the keyword and bid analysis. You will apply both consistently across every account, every week.
We look for consistency and attention to detail in this role. That means running the weekly checks on schedule, logging the reason for each bid change, and flagging numbers that dont add up. You will work directly with the founding team and manage live client accounts from your first month.
What You'll Do
Campaign management
- Run Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns across several client accounts, built to our campaign structure SOPs
- Set and adjust bids, budgets, and placement modifiers against each account's ACOS and TACoS targets
- Launch campaigns for new products from our launch templates, on the date the account plan says
- Run product and competitor ASIN targeting where the playbook calls for it
Search terms and keywords
- Work through every account's search term report each week: move converting terms to exact match, negate the ones that waste spend, and log each change
- Keep negative keyword lists clean across campaigns, so wasted spend gets cut within the week
- Use the Meridian Intelligence Layer for keyword and bid analysis, and speak up when a suggestion looks wrong for the account
Monitoring and reporting
- Check every account daily for budget caps, spend spikes, and campaigns that have stopped serving
- Look past the ads console when performance drops, for stockouts, a lost Buy Box, a suppressed listing, or a price change, and flag it to the account team the same day
- Send a weekly report for each account that says what moved, why it moved, and what you changed
- Keep the change log current, so anyone can see what was done on an account and when
Working with the team
- Plan ad spend around deals, coupons, and stock levels with the account managers, so budget follows what the brand can actually ship
- Follow the SOPs as written, and propose an edit when a step stops working
- Hand over accounts cleanly when needed, with notes, open tests, and pending changes written down
What You'll Bring
- 1 to 5 years of hands-on Amazon PPC, running campaigns yourself in the Amazon Ads console for an agency's clients or a brand's own account. We are hiring at two levels: Specialist I (about 1 to 3 years) and Specialist II (about 3 to 5 years, who also reviews others' accounts)
- Working command of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display, including match types, bidding strategies, and placements
- You read ACOS, TACoS, ROAS, CTR, and CVR together, and you can work out a product's break-even ACOS from its margin
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets: pivots, lookups, and cleaning a 5,000-row search term export without breaking anything
- Clear written English, so your weekly notes explain what happened on an account in plain words
- Based in Bengaluru, or willing to relocate. This is an on-site role
Why This Role Is Different
A system that already works. You start with written SOPs and our own tooling, so your early weeks go into running accounts well instead of inventing a process. A year of running a good system properly will teach you more than three years of improvising on a weak one.
Several brands at once. You will run ads for more than one brand at a time, across different consumer categories. Patterns that take years to spot from inside one brand show up in months when you run several.
Founder access. Your weekly notes go straight to the founding partners, all three of them ex-Amazon. They will ask why a number moved, and those conversations will teach you how Amazon works from the inside.
How We Hire
We hire on craft and character, not on keywords in a CV. Expect a direct conversation with the founders about the work you have done and the work you want to do, alongside a practical work sample. The process is quick, and you will always know where you stand. For this role, the work sample is a real search term report from a live account, anonymised, and ten minutes to tell us what you would change.
