AM/DM-Press Shop (Sricity,AP)

Role Summary: Responsible for managing press shop operations for sheet metal components used in air conditioner manufacturing. Ensure production targets, quality standards, machine efficiency, tooling availability, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily press shop production and manpower.
• Ensure timely supply of components to assembly lines.
• Monitor productivity, OEE, scrap, and machine downtime.
• Oversee die maintenance, tool management, and preventive maintenance.
• Drive quality improvements and defect reduction initiatives.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and 5S practices.
• Ensure adherence to EHS and safety standards.
• Lead and develop supervisors, engineers, and operators.

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• 6-10 years of experience in Press Shop/Sheet Metal Manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Power Presses, Hydraulic Presses, Progressive Dies, TPM, Lean, and Quality Systems.
• Experience in AC, HVAC, Consumer Durable, or Automotive manufacturing preferred.
