About this role
Job Description
- Review and finalization of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, Reconciliations)
- Managing GST audits, assessments, and departmental notices
- Drafting and reviewing replies to show cause notices and other litigation matters
- Advising clients on GST implications, structuring transactions, and compliance strategies
- Conducting health checks, GST reviews, and due diligence assignments
- Assisting clients in GST registrations, refunds, and transitional matters
- Representing clients before tax authorities (as required)
- Handling multi-state compliance for corporate clients
- Leading and mentoring junior team members
- Ensuring timely compliance and maintaining quality standards
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Batch: 2018-2022
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in Indirect Tax (GST)
- Prior experience in consulting firm preferred
